British Premium Sausage Co were proud to attend this week’s event at Butchers’ Hall.
Events like this bring together the people, producers, and partners who keep our industry moving forward. It’s always a privilege to be part of a gathering that celebrates tradition while supporting the future of British food and farming.
Traced back in City history records to 1343, a parcel of land was given to the Butchers of London to provide them with a place to clean and dispose of offal or any ‘beast entrails’.Lead by Pipes and drums through London to Mansion House

The Epping Forest Pipe Band will play a little ensemble during the meal before The Master leads the forming of a procession outside the Hall at approximately 2:30pm.
Ironically the meal was a tasty three-course premium British sausage and mash meal with wine and drinks.

In payment for the land, the Butchers agreed to pay The Lady Mayor with a Boar’s Head each winter and, despite the fact the land and the practice are no more, we still honour the agreement and respectfully pay our dues when invited to.

Myself and Andy are proud to be part of this tradition and can’t wait for the next one, a big thanks to all involved and all at The Worshipful Company of Butchers and City Livery,
